Membership requirements

Meetings are held every other Tuesday night at 7 pm at room 244 in the Comm. Bldg.

  • Have an interest in attending law school.
  • Be in good standing with Northern Arizona University.
  • Have a GPA of 2.5 or higher.
  • Submit new member application and pay national and chapter dues by the deadline each semester.

Phi Alpha Delta (PAD) is the Professional Internationally connected Pre-Law professional organization on campus. Its primary function is to distribute information to students who are interested in going to law school and pursuing a legal career. International PAD is a professional service organization composed of pre-law students, law students, legal educators, attorneys, judges, and government officials. PAD was founded in 1902 for the purpose of promoting professional competency and achievement within the legal profession. PAD is the world's largest law fraternity with over 150 pre-law chapters, 176 law school chapters and 90 alumni chapters in United States, Canada, Puerto Rico and Mexico. The PAD Pre-Law Program was established in 1980 and in less than 20 years has reached a position of preeminence at colleges and universities across the United States and Puerto Rico.
